How do I send my first blast?

Log in and click Compose in the sidebar. Write your message, choose your recipients (all contacts, a group, or manual numbers), and hit Send. For MMS, attach an image from your Media Library. Your message will be delivered within seconds.

What are the messaging rates?

SMS messages are billed at $0.02 per segment (160 characters). MMS messages with images are $0.05 each. Your wallet balance is shown in the dashboard and you can top up anytime from the Billing page.

How do I import contacts?

Go to Contacts and click Import. Upload a CSV file with columns for name, phone number, and optionally email, city, state, and notes. Phone numbers should be 10 digits or include the +1 country code.

Can I schedule messages for later?

Yes! When composing a blast, toggle on Schedule Send and pick your date and time. Your campaign will be queued and sent automatically. You can view and cancel pending scheduled campaigns from the Scheduled page.

How does the AI message generator work?

Click the AI Assist button when composing a message. Choose your audience, tone, and message type, then add any key details. Our AI will generate a ready-to-send message. You can also improve or proofread existing messages.

What is Need Votes?

Need Votes is our advanced canvassing platform for field operations. It includes door-to-door walk lists, real-time volunteer tracking, AI-powered scripts, voter intelligence, and gamification. Contact us to enable it for your account.

How do I get a phone number?

Phone numbers are assigned to your account when you sign up. If you need additional numbers or a specific area code, contact us at support@needtexting.com and we'll get you set up.

What happens if someone replies STOP?

When a recipient replies STOP, they are automatically opted out and marked in your contacts. No further messages will be sent to that number. This is handled automatically to keep you compliant with TCPA regulations.
